Its raining good movies after Nautanki Saala another must watch Ek Thi Daayan from Kannan Iyer

The team of Ekta Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj seems to have hit a jackpot with Ek Thi Daayan.  Not only the film is good but also the cimematography by Saurabh Goswami is mind blowing.

As the year 2013 progresses we are finding a lot of good releases as compared to dud ones.  Following the footsteps of Jolly LLB, Rohan Sippy's Nautanki Saala is also a good movie to watch.  With the singular theme a single person having Ram and Raavan within him, the film weaves a good magic.  The film looses its grip in between for a few frames but Rohan somehow manages to coax out a beautiful climax at the end of the film.  The songs are also very good.  If you have not watched it you did better watch it now.

This friday's release from Balaji stable Ek Thi Daayan is a real surprise package.  The entire film except for the climax works beautifully.  The songs are good, the editing is crisp and background score is excellent.  If Kannan Iyer had not veered towards a typical Mahesh Bhatt type climax the film would have been a jumbo.

A special mention must be made for the cinematographer, Saurabh Goswami for excellent work behind the camera.  Emraan and Kalki shine in their roles and Konkana as always is superb.  This film will follow the footsteps of Jolly LLB to become a hit.

Hats off to the producers of both the films for taking a calculated risk and bringing about these films
